Hi my loves!!

I'm home from the hospital and I wanted to try out a new product I got from Nume! It's the most amazing curling wand I have ever used! If you're unlucky like me, then your hair is very stubborn and hard to curl. I mean, no matter which curling tool I have used and products I have put in my hair, my curls just will never stay. BUT not with this baby!! The Classic Curling Wand, 25 mm Barrel, was so easy to use and curled my hair instantly.

I just quickly curled my hair to see how it would work and I am very satisfied. I can only assume just how amazing it would look if I took my time. I definitely recommend buying this.

Here's a link to this specific wand-

Hi my loves <3

What an amazing Monday today has been! The sun has
finalllllyyy decided to grace us with his presence AND, not only that, I received some presents in the mail..I will share with you what those are tomorrow though.

Today, I decided to do a little smokey-eye for one of my followers requests. Since I was going to my last doctors appointment, I didn't want to do anything
TOO out there, especially since it was early this afternoon. So, I did just a subtle smokey-eye with browns and maroons.

Here's how I did it :)

FACE
  • Foundation:  I used L'oreal's True Match Lumi Foundation in the shade Sand Beige and applied it with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
  • Concealer: I tried out my newly purchased Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in the shade Fair. I blended this in under my eyes to my temples with a beauty blenderand on the bridge of my nose and a little bit on my forehead to highlight my face.
---To set my concealer, I applied my Ben Nye Banana Powder , with the  beauty blender, to help make sure the concealer would not crease.
  • To contour a little on the hollows of my cheeks, forehead and on the underneath of my jaw, I used Macs Sheertone Blush, in Gingerly, with a conturing brush from Real Techniques.
Picture
  • Blush: I used two blushes from the BH Cosmetics 10 Color Palette .  The light pink color on the far bottom left corner and the middle pink color on the top row. I applied those with a Mary Kay Cheek Brush.

  • For a little bit more color, I applied just a small amount of Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in the shade Bronze 1 with a Mary Kay Powder Brush all over my face.

EYES

PictureOn the left: Too Faced Natural Eyeshadow Palette
  • I used most of my colors from the bottom row of BH Cosmetics, 1st Edition, 120 Eyeshadow Palette.
--I used the brownish, maroon color on my eyelid and applied that with a Mary Kay Eye Color Brush.
--In my crease, I applied a medium brown to help blend out the colors and applied that with a Mary Kay Eye Crease Brush.
  • On the outer corner V of my eye, I applied the shades Sexspresso and Erotica from the Too Faced Cosmetics, Natural Eyeshadow Palette and used a Mary Kay Eye Crease Brush to help blend it out.

--THEN, to highlight my brow bone, I used the far left yellow color from the BH Cosmetics, 1st Edition, 120 Eyeshadow Palette.

  • Eyeliner: I used Maybelline Define-A-Line Eyeliner in the shade Ebony Black and applied that to my upper eyelid and upper/lower water lines.
  • Mascara: I used my two favorite, GO-TO mascaras. The first one that I use is L'oreal's Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara in the shade Blackest Black. and then after that, I apply Maybelline's, The Rocket Volume Express, in the shade Black or Very black
  • Eyebrows: I used a brow definer pencil from Mary Kay in the shade Brunette to just fill them out a little.

  • Setting spray: I used Urban Decay's Chill Makeup Setting Spray so everything would stay in place! This stuff is the bee's knees!!!

LIPS

  • Lip Liner: I used Jordana's Easyliner For Lips in the shade Silver Lilac
  • Lipstick: I used a Maybelline Lipstick in the shade Blissful Berry

TA-DAAA---and that's how I did my look for the day :) Hope you enjoyed my little tutorial of this smokey-eye. If you loved it, let me know, and if you have any requests that you would like me to do, don't be shy..leave a comment!!

OH and if you were wondering what I was wearing, my vest is from BeBe and my shirt is from KnowStyle

Hello my loves <3 !! So the weather kind of sucks today, but I'm not going to let it bring me down! Since it is so gross out, I didn't want to go crazy with my make up. I wanted a natural look, which I tend to do a lot now-a-days. Seems to be the easiest for me since my stomach is the size of like three basketballs lol. BUTTT..let me tell ya what I did...

FACE
  • Foundation: I used my L'oreal Magic Nude Liquid Foundation, in the shade Sande Beige and applied it with a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush.
  • Concealer: I tried out my newly purchased Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in the shade Fair. I blended this in under my eyes to my temples with a beauty blender and on the bridge of my nose and a little bit on my forehead to highlight my face.
  • To set my concealer, I applied my Ben Nye Banana Powder , with the  beauty blender, to help make sure the concealer would not crease.
  • To contour a little on the hollows of my cheeks, forehead and on the underneath of my jaw, I used Macs Sheertone Blush, in Gingerly, with a conturing brush from Real Techniques.
  • Blush: I used Macs Mineralize Blush, in the shade Warm Soul, and applied that with a Mary Kay Cheek Brush.
  • For a little bit of color, aka so I don't look so pale, I applied just a small amount of Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in the shade Bronze 1 with a Mary Kay Powder Brush all over my face.

EYES
  • I used Too Faced Cosmetics, Natural Eye Palette.
--On my eyelid, I started off with the shade Classic and applied that with a Mary Kay Eye Color Brush. I then applied the shade Cocoa Puff in my crease and blended it out with a Mary Kay Eye Crease Brush. After that, I applied the shade Honey Pot to the outer corner V of my eye and also blended that on top of the Cocoa Puff in my crease.
--To highlight my brow, I then applied the shade Day just to make my eyebrows look a little lifted and help me look a little bit more awake.
  • Mascara: I like the spider look, so I use two different mascaras. The first one that I use is L'oreal's Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara in the shade Blackest Black. After that, I apply Maybelline's, The Rocket Volume Express, in the shade Black or Very black. Can't really read the sticker, sorry about that!
  • Eyeliner: Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Eyeliner, in the shade Nude, applied on my lower water line.

LIPS
  • Nothing too fancy, I just used Mary Kay's Satin Lip Balm :)

Hope you enjoy this post!! If you did, which look would you like to see next? Let me know!

DECEMBER..when I think of this month, all I imagine are crazy shoppers and lots of traffic! I happened to be one of those shoppers today. I decided to get up off of my butt from bed rest, yes, I know, shame on me, and go to Walgreens and spoil myself a little bit with some new makeup! I alsoooo, went on an online haul to Ulta AND Nume and splurged a little bit more. 'Tis the season right!? lol Unfortunately, I won't be able to share those lovely products with y'all until it comes in the mail. TRAGIC..I know!

I can, however, share with you what I got today.so sit in your seats ladies and lets get started!

Picture
*The first item I got was the L'OREAL True Match Lumi Foundation, in the color Natural Beige, W4. I have heard nothing but great things about this foundation. Has a nice coverage and gives you a nice subtle glow. Once I start using it, I am going to do a tutorial and a review with this foundation.

*The next item I picked up was the MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Concealer in the shade Fair or #10. I am starting to get dark circles under my eyes and I have been using a light Ulta concealer, but I feel I want more coverage and I really wanted to try this product out. It's suppose to help "erase dark circles and fine lines.." so honestly, who wouldn't want that.

*Another item I picked up was the Rimmel Scandal Eyes, Waterproof Eyeliner in the shade Nude. From watching one of my favorite channels on Youtube, I found out that this is the less harsher version of putting white on your lower water line. It helps you look more awake.

*I also picked up today two lip products. The lipstick I got was the New Shade, Blissful Berry, by Maybelline and I love Jordana lipliners because they are so easy to apply and very affordable, so I got the shade Silver Lilac to go with this lipstick. I am not 100% sure if they are the right match, but we shall see! If not, looks like I will have to do another haul. OOPS ;)

Picture
Excuse my fat/pale hand lol but I did a few swatches so you could see the color of the eyeliner, lipliner and lipstick. The eyeliner is very subtle and not too bright so it should definitely make your eyes wider without being to out there. And the picture is kind of bad because I took these on my phone, but the lipliner and lipstick are both a nice winey/plum color. These colors are very in for Fall and I don't own anything like this so I can't wait to try these out!!

Once I get everything going and have my baby in the next few days, I am going to do make up how to's and reviews on the products I have bought on my Youtube channel and on here so y'all can see what everything looks like.

ANYWHO---

I hope y'all enjoyed my first blog. There will be more to come! Leave some comments below if there is anything you would like me to try next or talk about in my next blog or vlog.
